Michael has over 40 years experience in the pensions industry. He is a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute. In keeping with the role of a trustee he has passed the Trusteeship Certificate set by the Pensions Management Institute and completed the Pensions Regulator’s Trustee Toolkit.

He is a member of the Independent Pension Trustee Group, affiliated to the Pensions Management Institute (PMI), and of the PMI’s Trustee Group.

Michael has fulfilled various trustee roles over the last 25 years and been a Director of a number of Trustee Companies.
